• Keep the product front-and-center, shot straight on. Angled photos make it harder for the template to track shape and apply motion cleanly.
• Use a plain, light background (white or soft gray). High-contrast edges help the model isolate the item and avoid color bleed.
• Make sure logos and any key text are large and crisp in the source photo. Tiny lettering will blur once the camera moves.
• Skip barcodes or busy label blocks; they distract the viewer and confuse the motion blur pass.
• Avoid products covered in fine print or micro-details unless you choose Image Quality High; otherwise they’ll soften.
• Upload a square image or at least the same ratio you plan to export (1 : 1, 3 : 2, 2 : 3)—to avoid clipping.
